Policy analysis

The object is to evaluate the effectiveness of different methods of managing the energy system within the three communities in Switzerland, Ireland and Austria.

Various elements are analysed such as the applicable national, regional and local regulations that can affect the energy consumption, the status of the energy networks, the economic incentives (taxes, subventions, tax credits...) and the general political awareness and commitment.

Politics are analysed and compared. The efficiency of the measures taken is discussed.

What's more, the synthesis of the study and its conclusions will be delivered in the form of a report containing recommendations for best practices.
