Swimming Pool Nid-du-Crô
This installation is one of the biggest energy consumers in the city. The interventions will allow to decrease the heating energy demand by 62% (2229 MWh/year) and the electrical energy demand by 10% (126 MWh/year).
Measures
- gas boilers are replaced by a heat pump and new condensing boilers
- ground water is used in summer for cooling
- heat exchangers are installed on the ventilation circuit
- unglazed solar collectors are installed for pool heating
- glazed collectors are placed to produce hot water for the showers
Milestones
The boiler room was rebuilt and different adjustments were optimized. The remaining interventions are planned for 2011.
